I hate the implication of what it meant going from calling them PMs, for Private Messages, to being DM, for Direct Message.
I want PMs, not DMs.
But the messages aren't private, that is why I don't say pm anyore.
I’m old enough to remember a time when you could receive your messages instantaneously via instant messages!
