I mean the first I ever heard of it was about a bear sex scene. That’s decent marketing. Makes me low-key want to try it.
I need to try the series on pc, I don’t like 1/2 on console at all.
my understanding is that BG3 is more similar to Larian's earlier games, Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 (which, full disclosure, I'm a big fan of). so if you want an inexpensive PC game that's likely to have a similar feel, mechanically, those games have been around a long time and are still well worth playing (if you ask me).
I’ll keep that in mind when I get back to pc gaming. It’s been such a very very long time since I played on pc, probs… 2010 or so (I stopped gaming at all for a long time, got back to it a few years ago, and took a deep dive back in the last year or so - reclamation of self 😀)
Haven’t gotten back into pc, I’ve always collected console games, because those are pretty plug and play, and as long as I maintain some very old single-purpose computers, they run flawlessly every time.
But because of major system failures, my OS has changed a few times recently, and that makes it a bit harder to maintain games. Probs need to get a single use machine with dual boot for it. And some serious old school emulators too run my win 98 games… 😁
that reminds me, I failed to mention that I played both Divinity games on console. they work perfectly well (even if inventory management is a bit of a bummer) on console
