Ah yet another person who thinks they're owed free services to post whatever the hell they want whenever they want.

Us instance admins are people, average joes, hosting small servers for fun. Most of us have no interest in hosting whatever hate speech you want to spew under the guise of "free speech". As someone else already called out, you're more than welcome to start your own server. You just have to register it under your name, but hey you believe in free speech, so that's not a problem I assume. You mentioned that you're not interested in being technical, well have no fear! There are providers that do it in just a couple clicks! Super easy!

Just register your name to your instance, and say whatever the hell you like. Of course I will then probably exercise my own rights to defederate from your server.

You have the right to say whatever you like. You are not owed free server space or free hosting of said speech. We are not compelled to host your hate speech. Free speech is not an "illusion" on Lemmy (or the fediverse as a whole) - you just have to be willing to take on the risk and drawbacks yourself, there's no big safe company who's just going to quietly block you. Your words, Your server, Your responsibility.
