LoL nah. Good parents might, sure. Bad parents just think they do, while projecting themselves onto their kids. I'm pushing 50, and my parents have never understood me at all. Even when I open up and try to explain my perspective today, they take offense, declare it as rebellion against god, and simply refuse to think about what I've said. There is no helping them.
