i'm sure they've got their own means to get funds and 'et cetera' back and forth without needing 'sanctions' lifted.

Perhaps he finally realized that simping really hard for Putin only resulted in being used by him. Something anyone else with an IQ above room temperature in Celsius could have told him a long time ago.
