Wait… I was under the impression it is backwards compatible?!
As for your question: I want more racing games in VR, like F1 and some rally titles.
Unfortunately not, you can play psvr1 games on ps5 with the original psvr but not with psvr2
Wow… just wow… is it because of the hardware? Otherwise it’s a really strange decision.
PSVR1 tracked the DS4 controller via the light on the back, and a few games used the camera directly.
The Move controllers were awful as well. In fact the controllers were the weakest part of PSVR1 by a long way. That and the drifting camera.
I can see why they dropped it as it's a very different headset and controller setup, but it's a shame to lose those some of those games. Be nice if they got updates for PSVR2.

And yes, it is a truly a shame… but maybe some of them get a PSVR2 update in the future!
I’m assuming there must be some technical differences between the headsets that make it infeasible to make them work
