I think that I agree with Lina on this one. This article heavily sides with Danilo and her initial message is clear enough : she asks to remain primary author. It should have ended there with Danilo saying "ok no prob, here it is corrected" and it would have ended there.
Why then did she say she didn't care? She clearly cares a lot.
I don't know if there's more context, but at least as included in the article, it's "feel free to take anything that's useful and use it/submit it in any way" but that's quite clearly not what she actually meant.
She repeatedly says "she wants out" but yet she apparently doesn't really want out because she still wants to be in the creds. For not caring anymore she's caring a whole lot.
To want out does not mean not to have your work recognised as such. It is still your work, you just grant permission to use it as necessary and attribute correct ownership.
Lemmy user finds out that people might disingenuously state that they don't care when upset.
