Was a big fan of Secret of Mana (1 and 2), Secret of Evermore and different Zelda games. I tried to force me into playing FF, because it looked promising, but I can't stand the role-play battle mechanics.
try ffx for a final fantasy divergent from the super nintendo style turn by turn play.
So you don’t like turn based games? Unless I’m misunderstanding
You might like FF7 Remake, the combat is sort of a hybrid where it’s mostly realtime but you can give commands via a turn menu mid combat too
