You'd probably have to jump through several hoops to make that happen. Libreddit doesn't offer any ActivityPub API to follow directly, or even RSS feeds that might be used by a bot to post updates to Lemmy.
But subreddits still provide an rss feed, just add
/.rss
at the end, like this should work with any rss reader: https://www.reddit.com/r/fediverse/.rss So theoretically it should be possible, until they shut this "loophole" downYeah, I don't know anything about the state of open Reddit endpoints. Seems they're intent on closing down non-Google/Gemini access to some of them? 🤷
But if the
/.rss
"hack" helps setting up a Lemmy bot or at least track the communities with a feed reader, that's a small victory I guess?
