MODERATORS
I have little faith that the increase will find its way to the people on the ground. I say this as a "coffee snob" that doesn't buy beans from my favored region because the workers aren't fairly compensated.
Semi-related: if you haven't tried it, you may want to consider coffee from the Zapatistas, which is probably some of the most ethical coffee you can get.
I certainly will! Thank you for the recommendation! I'm actually not far from their roaster, so it should be within the ideal range on arrival.
