Mine is literally being held together by two rubber bands.

Suggestions for a new one would be most welcome. Though to be clear, I'm not asking for an idealised wallet, I'm asking for the specific one that you have now that has lasted you X years without complaint

I think my favourite wallet I've ever had was when I found a tyvek envelope, cut it open, and folded it into a wallet. There are videos you can find on origami wallets, it's dead simple. Not only is a tyvek one basically impervious to rips, you can rebuild a new one at the drop of a hat.
