The dub is completely different to the Japanese version, it’s improvised and insane. Are there other anime dubs that are so different to the original version?

It's not to this level, but the dub of Yu Yu Hakusho added so much for the tournament saga dub.

I couldn't think of it at the time, lol. The dark tournament saga, where you had the demon girl announcer. In Japanese, she was played very straight, but in English she had an Addams family humor to her.
