We will be using Blorptube tonight: https://blorp.bot.nu/o/visual_cuisine It is still recommended to use a vpn.
The visual cuisine for tonight is the first Moon Crystal cosmos movie and the first four episodes of Bishoujo Kamen Poitrine.
Sailor Moon Crystal is a reboot of the Sailor Moon anime, it also has a channel on tankietube: https://tankie.tube/c/sailor_moon5/videos
Bishoujo Kamen Poitrine is a comedy series the same vein as Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon that was also an inspiration for Sailor Moon: a girl visits a shrine and is given the power to become a superheroine to protect her neighborhood.

Bishoujo Kamen Poitrine is very tame by Tokusatsu standards, but is probably the best Magical Girl Tokusatsu show (at least for the one realeased during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The content warnings I would also add would be mentions of alcohol (her dad is said to drink a lot, and he tries to hit his son in one episode when he's accused of being a criminal or stealing something). Poitrine crossdresses a lot in many episodes to disguise herself (she seems to actually get whatever ability the disguise grants her). Detective Honda has a cartoonish hatred and envy for Poitrine but she is still a good character.
In two episodes, Poitrine has to deal with mentally ill people: in one, she laughs at a guy who has a cut compulsion, and in another, she has to help a manchild (who has the gag of poking her butt because he finds it funny). After Episode 28, the main villain is revealed to be a demon (Diable). The old man who gave Poitrine her powers has some cringeworthy womanizer dialogue in some late episodes. Poitrine's dad confuses Poitrine (the alter ego) with his wife and tries to kiss her, but the real wife appears and gets angry at him (there's no kiss though, if I recall correctly). Some kids are mean to the weird dark magic girl, Reiko. Poitrine disguises herself as a Hitler/Nazi Germany officer in one episode for a gag (even though she states she hates Nazis, though I could be misremembering this one with another magic girl tokusatsu).
Just like Dark Mercury. One of Poitrine's allies turns into Dark Poitrine after getting corrupted/brainwashed by Diable's dark magic during the last episodes. There are mentions of the stereotype that Japanese people overwork and have no time for their families, while Europeans and Americans always have time for their families (this is more a criticism of Japanese work ethics, iirc). I could be mistaken, but I believe there's an episode with blackface, though I believe it's to represent some ghost or fantasy creature instead of another culture.
