You can never have too much food, just not enough storage space.
Problem is food increases your wealth which means bigger raids.
...Which in turn, makes more food! A good problem to have.
And? That just means more food/resources!

That sounds like a skill issue. Quietly sweeps the hideously overpowered mods under the carpet.
