His only argument against bike lanes is "there unamerican" XD Nothing about reducing traffic, helping the environment, being healthy, saving money, just unamerican.

Exactly, all those things are unamerican.
American here. I can confirm that >99% of the dumbasses here will absolutely trade all of those things for a car.
"Unamerican" means "objectionable to those who pay me."
