I enjoyed the hell out of the original, I'm not sure I need to play it again, but if you never tried it, it's absolutely worth a play.
I do wonder if they updated the Resident Evil 1 style control scheme though, looking at the video, probably not.
3 got a little tiresome because every time you, Kate Walker, walked up to another person, they would always refer to you, Kate Walker, by your full name, Kate Walker, every single fucking time, Kate Walker.

I have never played the series but have bee curious about it, will check the reviews and give it a try, if it's a good remaster.
Be advised, it's NOT an action game. It's a point and click puzzle game with a 3D UI.
It might look like an AC/Tomb Raider/Resident Evil game, but it's not.
Oh yeah, I got that part. I like the concept of adventure / point and click games, just couldn't stand those convoluted puzzles that didn't make any logical sense.
These puzzles are purely mechanical, clockwork. You find the pieces to put them back together.
That's nice then.
