I dont know them and I am happy other news sources exist but not having one avenue that is not billionaire controlled is kinda bad.

As a Canadian this is why I'm appealed when people want to defund CBC.

I dont know about the cbc but german public tv is hit and miss in terms of disinformation. I meant at least one fediverse account would have been cool.

I generally find CBC to be pretty balanced and fair.

Much more than any alternatives.
