The Netherlands continues to be my top choice for a place to live if I end up fleeing my country. If they'll have me.
It's expensive. Don't forget to buy the floor for your apartment.
Edit: I'm serious about the floor. Apartments don't come with flooring included.
I live in San Francisco, I'm used to things being expensive. The floor thing is crazy though.
Not with the current political climate I'm afraid. Still hoping for a shift to the left, as our right wing parties just showed they are completely incompetent. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst though.
