Steam being a US-based company kinda put a damper on my willingness to shell out the moolah for games I might not even play ...

They've tried, they've listened, they've not gone forward with the implementation, apologized and refunded and everyone else moved on.

Except they didn't apologize and according to them adding paid mods was not a mistake, their mistake was starting with skyrim. I think it's funny how enamoured people are with steam to the point of misremembering what really happened.

Edit: love the downvotes, just proves how brainwashed steam fans are, just like nintendo fans.
