Do you think FOSS means the software magically appears without anyone creating it? You do, don't you, you fucking idiot. Lemmy, the open-source project to make a reddit-like social media platform was invented and coded by communists. This is a well known fact. But you have made it very clear you have no problem denying reality so long as it fits your cringy, simplistic beliefs.
Do you think Linux is a Finnish software because it was created bh Linus Torvalds? No!? Because that's not how FOSS work
Why yes, yes I do think Linux was originally created by a Finnish person. This is the comment you said was "dead wrong":
This is not "dead wrong," this is a fact. One you're tried (and failed) to deny so now you're moving the goalposts. It's so fucking obvious I don't know why you would want to keep digging yourself into a deeper hole. It's funny to watch, though. Lemmy does not just "happen to be federated with communist communities." Lemmy was made. by. communists. And now others, including some right wing dipshits (not unlike yourself), are using it as well. The complete opposite of how you were trying to paint the situation.
That's not the point being argued at all. Linus Torvalds is a bit of a lib (though he has said some cool things over the years, not enough to outweigh his attitude towards Russian maintainers); the Linux community is itself full of libs. I've learned to live with that. I accept that. Why must you be a little piss baby about the Lemmy community having lots of communists when we all can clearly see it was made by communists to make sure there was a space for communists to exist online?
