They didn’t say they had issues taking a shit, just that they usually do their crying while they shit. They may have perfectly fine bowl movements, and the crying and shitting may not necessarily be directly related to each other.

Can't be too much since it doesn't just add mass but also softens. If you get enough fiber (and water), you're not gonna be constipated due to your diet.
