anyone know good youtube apps with casting functionality for iOS that don't have ads?

I know GrayJay is nice on Android for that. just want to cast Youtube to my TV without getting hit with ads every 5 seconds ๐Ÿ˜…

what do you use?

The closest I've come to this is using Safari for YouTube rather than an app. There are ad blockers that can block the ads in YouTube (I use Vinegar) then you can cast as normal.

Really? I thought using official YouTube stuff gave ads when casting, could just be a chromecast thing tho, what do you cast to?

AppleTV usually, but if you're just screen mirroring it shouldn't matter.

I suspect using the YouTube app and Chromecast might do some weird double-streaming thing at the Chromecast end if you're still getting ads.

Tbh I swear by it. It's so much better than the shitty interface of my "smart" TV.

I usually fall asleep to watching YouTube preferably adfree on my TV, screen mirroring can heat up the device, so for that sake I would probably need something like an Apple TV if chromecast just gives me ads
