I've recently played/read Raging Loop. I love these kinds of super convoluted, mindblowing stories with like a loop or quantum mechanic reason there's a flowchart, but it wasn't the best in the genre. Spoilers ahead I guess (without details)

spoilers for raging loopThe MC is at the same time both a self-insert type (he can do everything and knows everything) and a piece of trash. The ending is 2 hours of exposition dump "turns out it was like this all along wdym you still have questions" that still leaves a LOT of stuff unexplained and doesn't really hit hard because they didn't quite build you up to it. I.e. there's no big reveal. Finishing the game unlocks revelations mode which adds people's thoughts and sometimes scenes the MC wasn't around to witness but the devs clearly intend for you to read through the VN again, even though you've just finished it and remember basically everything. The revelations scene are marked in the flowchart and you can skip the main story text to only go through the new scenes, but then you kinda miss the context of when these scenes pop up, and most of them are pretty short and so far, about halfway through, very few of the new additions were actually important. I feel like this could have been handled better, ultimately entirely in the base game tbh.

Despite these complaints the idea is solid, can't really go wrong with that type of mechanics. I was also surprised that it was basically a game of werewolves (you know, the table game) lol. They're playing a real-life game of werewolves.

Much preferred Virtue's Last Reward, the original ace attorney trilogy (no "restart" mechanic but it's great all the way through), and Paranormasight. Open to suggestions if people have more of these VNs to recommend. My next one is probably going to be ever17, going in blind as always, and I have a bunch more downloaded on my phone. Had to download 3 different emulators and find APKs and sideloaders but I did it lol.

Meanwhile, I am struggling with using emulation on my tablet.

It's kind of messy. The emulators exist for android (including Citron for the Switch, which works great) but they need firmware files and stuff on first start. Some machines also encrypt games and you need additional or specific file formats for them, e.g. the ps vita.

The switch for example needs an unlock file to start with and some website has it but I forgot the name.

If you look on reddit there's usually resources but it does require some research. For the PS Vita for example NoPayStation is the best source, it has the game files AND the accompanying .work file that you also need.

You can either download everything on the tablet directly or connect it to your computer with a USB cable and transfer the files. For the emulators install the .apk files. For games I usually create a folder in the root folder on my phone (so like no subfolders or anything, don't overcomplicate it) named after the emulator and I drop my games in there. Citron will ask you so select the folder, I do, and it just reads whatever's in there. Other emulators like Vita 3k need you to install games individually but I still keep them in a "Vita 3k" folder so I know where to look for them.
