Such a pity, too. Not long ago something like this would have ended even a powerful politician's career. Dead. Full stop. But now, who can blame them? They've learned that there are no consequences for their hypocrisy and bad behavior, so why would they change?
As long as Democrats continue to pretend to be surprised by Right Wing misbehavior instead of doing anything about it, this shit'll keep happening
its a uniparty, they are both codepedant on each other for survival, the gop needs dems to be railed on, and ds need to put a faux opposition party to be relevant.
But what if the dems realized they could become a real opposition party and have power.
I hate to say it but there are consequences for all this. Some less immediate than others.
