What if they like, just don't do that. What could the president do? Send space force? Fly up himself?
Logistically what would happen is that anyone who stopped it would be fire and replaced with sycophants who will do it.
You could sabotage the system I guess, so said sycophants can't control it, but I'm not sure what you could do with that besides cop a treason charge
I'm going to lathe a reality where the NASA employees refuse to destroy the satellites and occupy the headquarters that is responsible for that
just say you did it and change the subject
