I work in water.
We have annual outlooks for expected rainfall. It's broken into three scenarios:
Rainfall is following scenario 3 perfectly.
I explained this to a farmer at a community event who was complaining that bad rainfall was ruining his business.
He responded that he doesn't believe the forecasts.

It’s been widely reported sea levels are on the rise for decades now. This one’s on you.
I know this was a joke but for anyone watching, desalination is really inefficient.
Yeah, I bet he believes in chemtrails. Anyway, what's the worst case?
Worst case is historic 80 year low rainfall over winter, followed by 'Green Drought' with flash floods in Spring followed by 'Fodder drought'.
I thought that was the case. It's similar from what I'm seeing over here in Slovenia, just not to that extent. Yet.
Not the person you replied to, so I think anecdotally, it’s that we didn’t get any rain for a month, then it rained like hell and flooded everything.
