The Oval Office, then and now.
(lemmy.world)
This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.
This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?
Just post some stuff and don't spam.
the piss yellow chairs are really the chefs kiss.
Even crazier, they are the same chairs. If you look at the woodwork, they are identical.
They have been reupholstered to that, with a fine pattern that appears to make image compression struggle with the edges of people.
I am not sure they are reupholstered, everything is over saturated in the second image, the floor, the wall and even the marble.
Yeah, I think it’s a combination of over-saturated color, combined with light reflecting off of all the gold. If you shine white light into a room full of gold, it’ll take on a golden tint as it bounces around. So when it hits non-gold surfaces, it will tint those surfaces yellow.
It looks more saturated to me.
Basically same chair and upholstery but the saturation was boosted +5
