In principle, I agree.
...But I think many people are sick of playing 'fair' while schoolyard bully insults of trans women (for instance) rake in millions of dollars and tons of ratings.
In the larger social media landscape? Principles don't work. Algorithms are just going to suppress being polite.
I say spit fire back. If being a shithead is all that trends, mind as well make the enablers miserable. And hopefully the whole ragebait system falls apart, soon...
