I'm by no means fit enough to be mining coal but I'd happily do it because I'd be employed.

Also, coal mining isn't the healthiest activity. But coal miners in socialism do get extremely high benefits, a decade earlier of retirement, extra wages and holidays, very regular medical checkups, preferential position to go to sanatories and vacational complexes...
