MODERATORS
Makes total sense to me! Being an ally and being progressive has nothing to do with your tastes, preferences and comfort levels.
Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean anything at all about how accepting you are of others choices. If you feel still weird enough that it's bothering you it's OK to talk about it with your friends/family or a professional.
