The most annoying part about this is all the liberal pundits who will once again start screaming about how America is going through a Maoist Cultural Revolution or whatever, because they are so historically and politically illiterate they have no other frame of reference to compare this with other than the racist, orientalist, anti-communist tropes that they've all been taught to mindlessly regurgitate.
