My wife is a genius. My wife is on the spectrum but is the opposite of ADHD. He normal state is me maxed out on ADHD meds. Where my ADHD comes in handy is when it is time for her to explain what she is doing or basically have any sort of technical conversation. Her brain goes so fast that she leaves out a ton of context, and when she tries to compensate she gives so much background information that everyone's eyes glaze over. So my job, as someone who's been with her for many years and whose brain is always on multiple trains of thought, is to translate for her and ELI5 for those trying to keep up with her.
