Were you disappointed when Perfect Dark got canceled? (sh.itjust.works)

Perfect Dark (N64) was and is one of my favorite games. Microsoft came along and downgraded it (in my opinion ruined) with perfect dark zero.

I still was hopeful to see the reboot for the new era of consoles. Until I saw the gameplay demo. It's like they hired people who specifically didn't play any Perfect Dark game. When it got axed I wasn't surprised and was actually happy, ironically.

Honestly, even if it wasn't good, I had the hope a new game could breathe enough life into the series to actually get something better later on, similar to Bombshell leading to Ion Fury.

Fair point. Let's hope some other studio gets the rights and finishes off the game for a future release while fixing the problems before it even comes out
