What is a Tankie?

Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.
Off-topic Discussion — Do not discuss unrelated topics to the point of derailing the thread. Stay focused on the direct content of the post, rather than engaging in unrelated arguments.
Brigading — If you're here because this community was linked in another thread, please refrain from voting, commenting or manipulating the post in any way, this includes alt accounts. All votes are public, and if you are found to be brigading, you will be permanently banned.

Cowbee's "evidence" is a poll about people's perceptions about the government.
It's as accurate as the sentiment illegal immigrant is ruining america and portland is war torn.
Cowbee is speaking bullshit as usual.
Public sentiment is easy to rally when speaking out means punishment.
Not that I expect the poll is genuine to begin with.
The best way to counter Cowbee is just point out their ridiculous sources and ask them to use a neutral one
The best way to counter spreaders of authoritarian propaganda is to not. They're not being sincere. They never discuss in good faith. Just don't engage and call their problematic behavior out elsewhere, so you can maybe keep a third party from falling down the propaganda hole. Doesn't even matter whether they pretend to be leftists or are fascists, the tactics are the same.

In my limited experience, they tend to double down further, they seem to have chosen to not recognize the real world...
Common sense arguments are downvoted to hell while you receive snark replies about your level of intelligence, saying you've been brainwashed. It's a sinking ship.
