Looks like top management has completely given up on gaming following the disastrous acquisitions of Activision and Zenimax.
They've killed their first party studios, their hardware and now their last remaining thing which was the game pass.

I played quite a bit of Starfield and lack of soul is exactly what it is. The game itself is not so bad, the true annoying thing is the sequences of 5 loading screens to get to a planet to another but the lack of soul is extremely visible.
I have more fate in TES6/Fallout 5 them most people, Fallout 76 is the first time they tried to make a multiplayer game and they did that to put micro transactions and make money so is the game destined to be bad, with Starfield is something different that they tried and failed. TES6/Fallout 5 will be at worst something like Fallout 4 and at best something like Oblivion/Skyrim.
