I acknowledged that my experience is not the universal experience, but also that my doctor was aware of this possibility and informed me of it before the procedure. The fact that yours didn't along with disregarding your known symptom after the fact shows that they're not very good at their job, but says nothing about the procedure itself nor what the other person is claiming to be universally true.
