Biggest theft are the first 20 or so, with just shy of £1m to 500 workers to £100k to 400 workers.

The rest is more or less individual grievances (although well done to this one person:)

  1. Tir Prince Raceway Limited, Abergele, LL22, failed to pay £18,400.70 to 1 worker

I wish they went after bigger players. Yeah inidividual M&S and Holland&Barret stores are in there, but I was waiting to see Uber or Deliveroo in there

The trouble with the likes of Uber etc is they claim that the people working for them are technically self employed and thus not entitled to NMW.

I know there was a court case a few years ago about the worker's status but I've not really been familiar with the issues since I worked for HMRC

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
