Nah! I love fixing them up! It's stupid easy, for me anyway. I've made seriously nice knives out of TSA crap.

The vast majority of what you get is good to go. Few strokes on the stone, little polish on the wheel, brand new. Ordered toothpicks and tweezers off eBay to straiten out the surplus. PLUS, he gets a gift you worked on! And you never know what you'll get! I've got some very cool knives from a batch of 50.
