If it weren't for vidjagames I'd have transitioned years ago. You are right, many are unfortunately in Adobe's CC suite. As a creative myself, I didn't know much when I started, but I knew I wasn't going to be paying Adobe a subscription fee for the rest of my life, nor be tied to select operating systems.
