ProTip: push your knee(s) against the sink for extra support. Initially you'll feel a little weird, but you won't care after your back stops hurting. You can also use this when brushing your teeth and washing your hands.

Pro pro tip: make sure the edge of the sink isn’t wet before you do that. Unless you like looking like you peed yourself.

As a tall person, I really need to try that, thx. Hunching over doesn't bother me at all when washing hands or brushing my teeth, since that is only for a short while, but my back does start to hurt if there's a bit of dish washing to do

Welp, something I've been doing without thinking since I was a teenager working as a dish washer. I've had back problems since puberty. Stretch marks on my back to this day from growing too quickly.
