Not a single condemnation by the west pretending to care about human rights
Western human rights champions like the US and Canada still sterilize indigenous peoples.
The west is distracted with its own problems and tired of hearing of this conflict. Its news media has no incentive to cover it. To the contrary, they have every incentive, not to cover it.
The west should stop talking about Israel right to self defense, stop selling them arms , stop saying to Palestinians that they have no right to self defense in that case
Israel is their problem. It wouldn't exist without the West.
Tired of hearing about what their tax dollars are paying for? They deserve every shitty politician they support for their benefits at the cost of people they see as lesser.
And it's not a conflict, it's a fascist ethno-religious supremacist occupation.
Mate, support from Western governments and Press for this shit has shattered decades worth of diplomacy and subtle propaganda to build an impression of a Rules Based Order led by the West amongst non-allied nations, which add up to most of the World.
Such a massive diplomatic self-goal that destroyed a positive perception of it amongst countries like Brasil and India makes the West's problems even worse and accelerates China's path to global dominance.
This is even worse for countries like the US whose above average success is anchored on global elements like having the World's Reserve Currency, de facto control of most Oil-production during an Oil-based Technological era (now fading), having pretty much defined the global standards of Intellectual Property protection, International Trade and so on, though it's also damaging for the EU whose soft power depends mainly on Trade and Diplomacy, both of which are affected by goodwil in other nations towards it and in the international institutions which matter for things like trade standards.
Considering how shitty shit small and unimportant Israel actually is, the US-aligned West immolating its goodwil amongst the public in most of the World and diplomatic power versus the governments of those nations, is an excessive sacrifice, whose effects have barelly started to be felt (though the difficulties the West is already having in trying to isolate and Imperialist and Warmongering Russia are a pretty good indication of how the Judgement of the West doesn't count for much anymore).
The wisest course of action would've been to cut Israel off.
Don't misunderstand, I don't disagree. Israel is a propped up puppet of the US. (a puppet pulling back on the strings of the puppeteer)
I was simply stating that many people in the west have stopped caring. Religions nationalism does that. Its the basis for the racist imperialism the leadership of Israel and the US are propagating. To get people to tolerate genocide and violence, religion is an excellent tool. Fear of the "other" and denial of your own weakness are powerful motivators.
I think we need to separate the US from most of Europe.
I don't disagree on the religious nationalism when it comes the the US (not sure as I don't live there, but it does sound consistent with the discourse I hear from there).
However in Europe religion is on the wane and the biggest supporter of Israel, Germany, isn't really a religious country and ditto for Britain.
Whilst one could go "yeah, but Italy is also a big supporter of Israel", Spain which is similiar in terms of religiosity (both intensity and the specific Christian sect popular there) is almost the opposite.
Further, public support for Israel is pretty low in Europe - it's mostly the politicians forcing it rather than the public wanting it, which is why for example even in Britain which is an insane supporter of Israel there have been demonstrations against the Genocide with over half a million people and there are even people risking years in jail just to support Palestine following the Palestine Action being deemed a Terrorist Organisation by the Home Office authoritarian abuse and even in Germany and Italy there have been large demonstrations recently against supporting Israel.
Maybe Israel does have - as their politicians say - "Western Values", in the sense of the "West" being just the US, because both have very large Religious Nationalism and White Colonialism problems, but that doesn't seem to be shared by the rest of the West, at least not Europe and not the Religious Nationalism part (though a shared White Colonialist mindset might very well be the explanation for why so many of the power elites in Europe support Israel even whilst the public does not)
PS: From my own personal observations here in Europe, even the people who support Israel do so motivated by political loyalty rather than religion or any love for colonialism: basically their political tribe's leaders have for their own reasons decided to support Israel and those people then just parrot that shit because that's what their tribal "chiefs" are saying.
