Silica beads can kinda pop and shatter if immersed in water though. I don't think it would be a huge risk but it doesn't sound pleasant
Back during my freshman year of college, we robotripped a lot. The feeling of 40 gelcaps popping in your stomach at once is really bizarre.
why did they pop
Yeah nobody said it was going to taste good or be pleasant to eat even, it would probably suck. But it won't hurt you, not physically at least.
