Literally anything from the Tales of series of JRPGs (very few exceptions, can only think of 1 that actually sucked back on the PS2)
Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia are pretty good starting points but almost none of the games are part of the same continuity so it doesn't really matter
Also all them can be played co-op (aside from the new one but there's a mod for the PC version that enables co-op)
Love the Tales Series. So um akshually tales of phantasia, symphonia and that bad sequel on the wii are all the same universe. Is there a way to play symphonia with online co-op? Maybe with Dolphin? Cause back when it csme out I was 12 and had 3 friends to play the game full co-op with. We swapped around who controlled on the overworld every half hour but for battles we each had our 2 characters that we drew from a hat. This led to an interesting thing where certain characters could never be in battle at the same time, the guy who got Lloyd also got Raine for example, so either the best damage dealer OR the healer could be on field cause no one else could use those 2. It made for some very interesting moments. We had all beaten it once and had a few new game + bonuses on, but it made it more interesting strategy wise
