Decided I'm going to make the switch today. What I like about Brave is the out-of-the-box tracker and add blockers. Is an extension like Ghostery good enough with Firefox to get similar results or are there better ways to approach this?

Unless you absolutely need the very latest upstream features, just go with Librewolf.

It's literally just Firefox, but:

  • - telemetry to Google and Mozilla
  • - useless features like pocket and recommended websites
  • + privacy-focused, aka non brain dead default settings
  • + uBlock Origin installed by default

Librewolf looks super interesting. I might give this a shot first and see what it's like.
