Because this is the internet and one can never be certain of anything, I need to know that you have some idea of the severe emotional isolation that creates dysfunctional abusers and that people who have only ever socialized with (and even prefer) something that physically can't reject them are not wonderful dating partners. There is no problem we are going to fix by distancing ourselves even further from each other, especially not a social one. It is insane. It won't end well.
