I swear I read the headline and figured this was in the US. Come on, Canada don't be like us.
Came to say the US would never offer free postage to begin with, but was surprised to find out I was wrong! https://about.usps.com/publications/pub347/pub347_v03_revision_102015.htm
I give it a week before someone from the current administration takes note and tries to follow suit.
