I had a 12' shed at this house I lived at and it had two large doors that opened wide and flat against the shed. I rigged up my hammock in there. After mowing the lawn (about an hour to do properly) I'd kick back in that hammock and take a nap after getting appropriately relaxed.

That sounds like bliss. I gotta get me a hammock. I have a hand-me-down lazboy chair in the meantime 😄

What I liked about the hammock:

  • goes away easily since there wasn't much room in the shed

  • airflow - was a super humid place and I was usually gross from mowing

  • inside the shed - I had great neighbors that were very friendly, so friendly that it was impossible to be in plain view and get any peace and quiet :)

Sounds like my neighbours! I just moved to a small town and I’m learning just how nosy everyone is lmao. Anytime I’m out cleaning my bike someone stops by to chat. Completely wild to me.
