How is there not a ubiquitous modding platform for Linux yet?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I agree, personally.
And the absence of as many formal modding tools is, I believe, a reflection that many other Linux gamers think this as well.
Again: most of those already work on Linux
You're just repeating a myth
Repeating a what now?
I might not be a hardcore modder, but I've been gaming on Linux since 2008, making Wine work, updating game status on winedb, and actually figuring out some of the first ways to run Homeworld under Wine.
What in the fuck are you talking about? Nexus? Vortex?
If you're going to be an asshat on the internet, bring receipts.
I'm agreeing with you. Is there something unclear in my comment?
