Steam winter sale is live. What patient games are you picking up?
(store.steampowered.com)
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.
I assume I still got a few years until Baldur’s Gate 3 dips below $20.
You prob played them already, but the Divinity: Original Sin games are on deep discount
Yup - I certainly recommend those any chance I get.
I have Rogue Trader in flight and still have Pillars Of Eternity 2 and Tyranny in my backlog to hopefully tide me over.
Yeah! I’m wanting that game.
I have about $15 in steam credit, so I’m thinking of just pulling the trigger even though I have other games I’m actively playing.
i wanna get it as soon as I'm done with divinity 2!
but i need to get a total of 4 copies for the partner and the youngins, and gosh.
i do wanna support them though!
I decided to pull the trigger on bg3 maybe today or next week.
Depends on if I have time to play today.
If you wait too long, larian's new game will be out
That doesn't hurt BG3, and Larian has been adding free content to BG3 over time, so really the longer you wait the better it'll be. Still, it's definitely worth the price. It's a pretty long game, and good for the entire duration. Its also pretty replayable.
Why would that matter? It will be unrelated to BG3.
Hey, sometimes people are drawn to new games rather than tried and true games.
If they're waiting due to price, they're probably not interesting in buying the new game because it's new.
