Never played Doom 2016 but I've heard it's very good.
Never played Doom 2016 but I've heard it's very good.
It's also available on gog
Picked up lords of the fallen and it's been scratching that souls-like itch I've had since I finished elden ring.
Too poor to be in this community
I feel that. I’ve missed the last couple sales and will probably sit this one out too.
I bought operation Tango. Insanely fun co op game! Enjoyed it very much. Just wished it had a longer story
Picked up Eastern Exorcist. Got it for free for Android from epic but no gamepad support. So now I buy the Steam version for gamepad support. Solid game
Got it for free too on Epic and was super surprised by it. Solid game indeed.
Vein. Bought a full copy today, been playing their free demo version. Still in development, but potentially a great game for people who enjoy crafting survival. You explore and scavenge for components you need to build supplies to survive. Everything can be broken down with the right tools. It's not a fast-pace bloody hack and slash game, but more focused on building, occasionally dealing with zombies that want to eat your brains.
Can you play with friends?
Have not tried it, but there are supposed to be multiplayer options. Not sure how well it works, sounds like there are plans to fix bugs (whatever they may be) in the near future.
It's like a first person Project Zomboid. Lots of potential
Just added the demo to my library, thanks for the recs
My plan to work on my backlog this fall has utterly failed. Instead I've not been playing any games at all for the past month and a half, instead just working on a mod for STALKER Anomaly. Consequently I know in my heart of hearts that the right thing to do is not spend any money this sale. However, I am still looking at:
Tails of Iron (-92%)
The Banner Saga (-85%)
Bloodstained: Ritual of Night (-75%)
Virgo Versus The Zodiac (-75%)
Road 96 (-75%)
HYPER DEMON (-75%)
INMOST (-70%)
Trepang2 (-66% - if it was any lower I would just snap it)
Been picking up hot wheels games for my son recently. The monster truck game just came up for 70% off, putting it right in the zone I'm willing to pay.
The Hot Wheels Unlimited games are great!
here is your reminder to take a peek over on GOG aswell. personally found steam's offerings pretty lacking this year. GOG's; less so.
I remember Stranglehold being mind-blowing for its time. I'm pretty sure I had a physical copy that is long gone, but 5 bucks is not much to see how it has held up.
Also strongly considering breaking my early access rule to check out Jump Space. The main thing holding me back is trying to get a few friends to pick it up as I don't want the crew to just be me and a bot.
A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.
